Jeremy Willis
Retired
Jeremy Willis is the original founder of British Engineering Services, set up in 1990 with the aim of supplying electrical equipment and technology to Chile.
Originally qualifying as a Barrister at Middle Temple, Jeremy has over 40 years experience in developing markets. He used his extensive legal and business acumen to assist in the growth of BES Group.
In 2000, Jeremy re-organised the original business structure, setting up the UK based company BES (Europe) Ltd. In May 2024 Jeremy retired after a succesful management buy-out by his fellow director Tim Hyde.
Tim Hyde
Owner / 100% Shareholder
Tim Hyde joined BES Group in 2001. He has used his extensive experience, gained from 25 years of living and working in Africa, to help initiate and expand BES Group markets throughout Western, Eastern, Central and Central Southern Africa. Tim completed a management buy-out of his fellow Directors in May 2024 and is now the sole shareholder of the business.
Tim brings his wealth of knowledge and in-depth understanding of African cultures and business practices to help forge successful and long-standing relationships within the highest levels of Government and commerce.
Amelia Farley
Director, Finance & Planning
Amelia Farley joined BES Group in 2003 following a 12 year career in banking and management consultancy, working for Lloyds Bank, Natwest and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Whilst at PwC she managed strategic initiatives for major clients such as Barclays, Natwest, BNP Paribas and AMP Australia.
Amelia left the business in May 2024 after a management buy-out by her fellow director Tim Hyde
